Description

Pyrethrum 5EC contains 5% natural Pyrethrins derived entirely from chrysanthemum flowers (Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium) grown in Tanzania. Known for 50 years in public health situations, this naturally occurring pesticide has recently become available to growers in the form of Pyrethrum 5EC.

Pyrethrum is non-systemic and kills insect pests by contact action. The active ingredient causes rapid knock-down and is effective on a wide range of mites and chewing and sucking insects including: Aphids, Whitefly, Blackfly, Thrips and Spider Mites.

Add to water at the rate of 4ml per litre. Pyrethrum 5EC can be sprayed at 7 day intervals.
